This workshop will take you on a journey to explore what drives and dictates mobility and strategies on how to improve range of motion – often without any stretching at all. Nutrition is possibly one of the most complex areas of study and no wonder it is such a confusing field to navigate; especially when it comes to dealing with questions and misconceptions from members and clients. This workshop will teach you a systematic approach of screening for movement quality, mobility, motor control and strength necessary to have success in learning and eventually mastering the Olympic lifts (C&J and snatch). ASHTANGA YOGA- RELIEVING LOW-BACK PAIN – PUSHPANJALI SHARMA

Ashtanga yoga is a system of yoga recorded by the sage Vamana Rishi in the Yoga Korunta, an ancient manuscript “said to contain lists of many different groupings of asanas, as well as highly original teachings on vinyasa, drishti, bandhas, mudras, and philosophy” For people with lower back pain, stretching is very important. For example, stretching the hamstring muscles (in the back of the thigh) helps expand the motion in the pelvis, decreasing stress across the lower back. In addition, stretching with yoga increases blood flow, allowing nutrients to flow in, toxins to flow out, and overall nourishment of the muscles and soft tissues in the lower back.
